Does Consorsbank support 2FA?
Consorsbank does not currently support authenticator-app (TOTP) two-factor authentication. Consorsbank does offer 2FA via its own app and a hardware token — better than nothing, but an authenticator app is the more secure option if Consorsbank adds it.
2FA methods Consorsbank supports
- Proprietary app
- Hardware token
Consorsbank does not offer an authenticator-app (TOTP) option yet. Authenticator apps are safer than SMS, so it's worth requesting.
How to keep your Consorsbank account secure
Use a long, unique password (a password manager helps), turn on any 2FA method Consorsbank offers, and stay alert to phishing. See Consorsbank's official security documentation ↗. If Consorsbank adds authenticator-app support, you'll be able to use MS Authenticator App.
