Does Contentstack support 2FA?

contentstack.comDeveloperNot yet

Contentstack does not currently support authenticator-app (TOTP) two-factor authentication. Contentstack does offer 2FA via its own app and SMS text message — better than nothing, but an authenticator app is the more secure option if Contentstack adds it.

2FA methods Contentstack supports

  • Proprietary app
  • SMS text message

Contentstack does not offer an authenticator-app (TOTP) option yet. Authenticator apps are safer than SMS, so it's worth requesting.

How to keep your Contentstack account secure

Use a long, unique password (a password manager helps), turn on any 2FA method Contentstack offers, and stay alert to phishing. See Contentstack's official security documentation ↗. If Contentstack adds authenticator-app support, you'll be able to use MS Authenticator App.
