Does Dollar General support 2FA?
Dollar General does not currently support authenticator-app (TOTP) two-factor authentication. Dollar General does offer 2FA via SMS text message and phone call — better than nothing, but an authenticator app is the more secure option if Dollar General adds it.
2FA methods Dollar General supports
- SMS text message
- Phone call
Dollar General does not offer an authenticator-app (TOTP) option yet. Authenticator apps are safer than SMS, so it's worth requesting.
How to keep your Dollar General account secure
Use a long, unique password (a password manager helps), turn on any 2FA method Dollar General offers, and stay alert to phishing. If Dollar General adds authenticator-app support, you'll be able to use MS Authenticator App.
