Does EC-Council support 2FA?
EC-Council does not currently support authenticator-app (TOTP) two-factor authentication. EC-Council does offer 2FA via SMS text message and email code — better than nothing, but an authenticator app is the more secure option if EC-Council adds it.
2FA methods EC-Council supports
- SMS text message
- Email code
EC-Council does not offer an authenticator-app (TOTP) option yet. Authenticator apps are safer than SMS, so it's worth requesting.
How to keep your EC-Council account secure
Use a long, unique password (a password manager helps), turn on any 2FA method EC-Council offers, and stay alert to phishing. See EC-Council's official security documentation ↗. If EC-Council adds authenticator-app support, you'll be able to use MS Authenticator App.
