Does Entrust support 2FA?

entrust.netSecurityNot yet

Entrust does not currently support authenticator-app (TOTP) two-factor authentication. Entrust does offer 2FA via its own app and a hardware token — better than nothing, but an authenticator app is the more secure option if Entrust adds it.

2FA methods Entrust supports

  • Proprietary app
  • Hardware token

Entrust does not offer an authenticator-app (TOTP) option yet. Authenticator apps are safer than SMS, so it's worth requesting.

How to keep your Entrust account secure

Use a long, unique password (a password manager helps), turn on any 2FA method Entrust offers, and stay alert to phishing. See Entrust's official security documentation ↗. If Entrust adds authenticator-app support, you'll be able to use MS Authenticator App.
