Does GitGuardian support 2FA?
GitGuardian does not currently support authenticator-app (TOTP) two-factor authentication. GitGuardian does offer 2FA via email code — better than nothing, but an authenticator app is the more secure option if GitGuardian adds it.
2FA methods GitGuardian supports
- Email code
GitGuardian does not offer an authenticator-app (TOTP) option yet. Authenticator apps are safer than SMS, so it's worth requesting.
How to keep your GitGuardian account secure
Use a long, unique password (a password manager helps), turn on any 2FA method GitGuardian offers, and stay alert to phishing. If GitGuardian adds authenticator-app support, you'll be able to use MS Authenticator App.
