Does GoPro support 2FA?
GoPro does not currently support authenticator-app (TOTP) two-factor authentication. GoPro does offer 2FA via SMS text message — better than nothing, but an authenticator app is the more secure option if GoPro adds it.
2FA methods GoPro supports
- SMS text message
GoPro does not offer an authenticator-app (TOTP) option yet. Authenticator apps are safer than SMS, so it's worth requesting.
How to keep your GoPro account secure
Use a long, unique password (a password manager helps), turn on any 2FA method GoPro offers, and stay alert to phishing. See GoPro's official security documentation ↗. If GoPro adds authenticator-app support, you'll be able to use MS Authenticator App.
