Does iWantMyName support 2FA?
iWantMyName does not currently support authenticator-app (TOTP) two-factor authentication. iWantMyName does offer 2FA via its own app — better than nothing, but an authenticator app is the more secure option if iWantMyName adds it.
2FA methods iWantMyName supports
- Proprietary app
iWantMyName does not offer an authenticator-app (TOTP) option yet. Authenticator apps are safer than SMS, so it's worth requesting.
How to keep your iWantMyName account secure
Use a long, unique password (a password manager helps), turn on any 2FA method iWantMyName offers, and stay alert to phishing. See iWantMyName's official security documentation ↗. If iWantMyName adds authenticator-app support, you'll be able to use MS Authenticator App.
