Does MarkMonitor support 2FA?
MarkMonitor does not currently support authenticator-app (TOTP) two-factor authentication. MarkMonitor does offer 2FA via SMS text message, its own app and a hardware token — better than nothing, but an authenticator app is the more secure option if MarkMonitor adds it.
2FA methods MarkMonitor supports
- SMS text message
- Proprietary app
- Hardware token
MarkMonitor does not offer an authenticator-app (TOTP) option yet. Authenticator apps are safer than SMS, so it's worth requesting.
How to keep your MarkMonitor account secure
Use a long, unique password (a password manager helps), turn on any 2FA method MarkMonitor offers, and stay alert to phishing. If MarkMonitor adds authenticator-app support, you'll be able to use MS Authenticator App.
