Does MessageBird support 2FA?
MessageBird does not currently support authenticator-app (TOTP) two-factor authentication. MessageBird does offer 2FA via SMS text message and email code — better than nothing, but an authenticator app is the more secure option if MessageBird adds it.
2FA methods MessageBird supports
- SMS text message
- Email code
MessageBird does not offer an authenticator-app (TOTP) option yet. Authenticator apps are safer than SMS, so it's worth requesting.
How to keep your MessageBird account secure
Use a long, unique password (a password manager helps), turn on any 2FA method MessageBird offers, and stay alert to phishing. See MessageBird's official security documentation ↗. If MessageBird adds authenticator-app support, you'll be able to use MS Authenticator App.
