Does RingGo support 2FA?
RingGo does not currently support authenticator-app (TOTP) two-factor authentication. RingGo does offer 2FA via SMS text message and email code — better than nothing, but an authenticator app is the more secure option if RingGo adds it.
2FA methods RingGo supports
- SMS text message
- Email code
RingGo does not offer an authenticator-app (TOTP) option yet. Authenticator apps are safer than SMS, so it's worth requesting.
How to keep your RingGo account secure
Use a long, unique password (a password manager helps), turn on any 2FA method RingGo offers, and stay alert to phishing. See RingGo's official security documentation ↗. If RingGo adds authenticator-app support, you'll be able to use MS Authenticator App.
