Does Fidelity NetBenefits support 2FA?
Fidelity NetBenefits does not currently support authenticator-app (TOTP) two-factor authentication. Fidelity NetBenefits does offer 2FA via phone call and SMS text message — better than nothing, but an authenticator app is the more secure option if Fidelity NetBenefits adds it.
2FA methods Fidelity NetBenefits supports
- Phone call
- SMS text message
Fidelity NetBenefits does not offer an authenticator-app (TOTP) option yet. Authenticator apps are safer than SMS, so it's worth requesting.
How to keep your Fidelity NetBenefits account secure
Use a long, unique password (a password manager helps), turn on any 2FA method Fidelity NetBenefits offers, and stay alert to phishing. See Fidelity NetBenefits's official security documentation ↗. If Fidelity NetBenefits adds authenticator-app support, you'll be able to use MS Authenticator App.
