Does Noridian Medicare support 2FA?

Noridian Medicare does not currently support authenticator-app (TOTP) two-factor authentication. Noridian Medicare does offer 2FA via SMS text message and email code — better than nothing, but an authenticator app is the more secure option if Noridian Medicare adds it.

2FA methods Noridian Medicare supports

  • SMS text message
  • Email code

Noridian Medicare does not offer an authenticator-app (TOTP) option yet. Authenticator apps are safer than SMS, so it's worth requesting.

How to keep your Noridian Medicare account secure

Use a long, unique password (a password manager helps), turn on any 2FA method Noridian Medicare offers, and stay alert to phishing. See Noridian Medicare's official security documentation ↗. If Noridian Medicare adds authenticator-app support, you'll be able to use MS Authenticator App.
