Does PaysafeCard support 2FA?

paysafecard.comFinanceNot yet

PaysafeCard does not currently support authenticator-app (TOTP) two-factor authentication. PaysafeCard does offer 2FA via SMS text message, email code and its own app — better than nothing, but an authenticator app is the more secure option if PaysafeCard adds it.

2FA methods PaysafeCard supports

  • SMS text message
  • Email code
  • Proprietary app

PaysafeCard does not offer an authenticator-app (TOTP) option yet. Authenticator apps are safer than SMS, so it's worth requesting.

How to keep your PaysafeCard account secure

Use a long, unique password (a password manager helps), turn on any 2FA method PaysafeCard offers, and stay alert to phishing. See PaysafeCard's official security documentation ↗. If PaysafeCard adds authenticator-app support, you'll be able to use MS Authenticator App.
