Does Roku support 2FA?
Roku does not currently support authenticator-app (TOTP) two-factor authentication. Roku does offer 2FA via email code — better than nothing, but an authenticator app is the more secure option if Roku adds it.
2FA methods Roku supports
- Email code
Roku does not offer an authenticator-app (TOTP) option yet. Authenticator apps are safer than SMS, so it's worth requesting.
How to keep your Roku account secure
Use a long, unique password (a password manager helps), turn on any 2FA method Roku offers, and stay alert to phishing. See Roku's official security documentation ↗. If Roku adds authenticator-app support, you'll be able to use MS Authenticator App.
