Does State Farm support 2FA?
State Farm does not currently support authenticator-app (TOTP) two-factor authentication. State Farm does offer 2FA via SMS text message and email code — better than nothing, but an authenticator app is the more secure option if State Farm adds it.
2FA methods State Farm supports
- SMS text message
- Email code
State Farm does not offer an authenticator-app (TOTP) option yet. Authenticator apps are safer than SMS, so it's worth requesting.
How to keep your State Farm account secure
Use a long, unique password (a password manager helps), turn on any 2FA method State Farm offers, and stay alert to phishing. See State Farm's official security documentation ↗. If State Farm adds authenticator-app support, you'll be able to use MS Authenticator App.
