Does Status.io support 2FA?

status.ioDeveloperNot yet

Status.io does not currently support authenticator-app (TOTP) two-factor authentication. Status.io does offer 2FA via a hardware token — better than nothing, but an authenticator app is the more secure option if Status.io adds it.

2FA methods Status.io supports

  • Hardware token

Status.io does not offer an authenticator-app (TOTP) option yet. Authenticator apps are safer than SMS, so it's worth requesting.

How to keep your Status.io account secure

Use a long, unique password (a password manager helps), turn on any 2FA method Status.io offers, and stay alert to phishing. See Status.io's official security documentation ↗. If Status.io adds authenticator-app support, you'll be able to use MS Authenticator App.
