Does True Key support 2FA?
True Key does not currently support authenticator-app (TOTP) two-factor authentication. True Key does offer 2FA via email code, its own app and a hardware token — better than nothing, but an authenticator app is the more secure option if True Key adds it.
2FA methods True Key supports
- Email code
- Proprietary app
- Hardware token
True Key does not offer an authenticator-app (TOTP) option yet. Authenticator apps are safer than SMS, so it's worth requesting.
How to keep your True Key account secure
Use a long, unique password (a password manager helps), turn on any 2FA method True Key offers, and stay alert to phishing. See True Key's official security documentation ↗. If True Key adds authenticator-app support, you'll be able to use MS Authenticator App.
