Does TruStage support 2FA?
TruStage does not currently support authenticator-app (TOTP) two-factor authentication. TruStage does offer 2FA via phone call, SMS text message and email code — better than nothing, but an authenticator app is the more secure option if TruStage adds it.
2FA methods TruStage supports
- Phone call
- SMS text message
- Email code
TruStage does not offer an authenticator-app (TOTP) option yet. Authenticator apps are safer than SMS, so it's worth requesting.
How to keep your TruStage account secure
Use a long, unique password (a password manager helps), turn on any 2FA method TruStage offers, and stay alert to phishing. See TruStage's official security documentation ↗. If TruStage adds authenticator-app support, you'll be able to use MS Authenticator App.
