Does UniSuper support 2FA?
UniSuper does not currently support authenticator-app (TOTP) two-factor authentication. UniSuper does offer 2FA via SMS text message and email code — better than nothing, but an authenticator app is the more secure option if UniSuper adds it.
2FA methods UniSuper supports
- SMS text message
- Email code
UniSuper does not offer an authenticator-app (TOTP) option yet. Authenticator apps are safer than SMS, so it's worth requesting.
How to keep your UniSuper account secure
Use a long, unique password (a password manager helps), turn on any 2FA method UniSuper offers, and stay alert to phishing. If UniSuper adds authenticator-app support, you'll be able to use MS Authenticator App.
