Does Starlink support 2FA?
Starlink does not currently support authenticator-app (TOTP) two-factor authentication. Starlink does offer 2FA via email code and SMS text message — better than nothing, but an authenticator app is the more secure option if Starlink adds it.
2FA methods Starlink supports
- Email code
- SMS text message
Starlink does not offer an authenticator-app (TOTP) option yet. Authenticator apps are safer than SMS, so it's worth requesting.
How to keep your Starlink account secure
Use a long, unique password (a password manager helps), turn on any 2FA method Starlink offers, and stay alert to phishing. See Starlink's official security documentation ↗. If Starlink adds authenticator-app support, you'll be able to use MS Authenticator App.
