Does Virgin Plus support 2FA?

virginplus.caUtilitiesNot yet

Virgin Plus does not currently support authenticator-app (TOTP) two-factor authentication. Virgin Plus does offer 2FA via SMS text message and email code — better than nothing, but an authenticator app is the more secure option if Virgin Plus adds it.

2FA methods Virgin Plus supports

  • SMS text message
  • Email code

Virgin Plus does not offer an authenticator-app (TOTP) option yet. Authenticator apps are safer than SMS, so it's worth requesting.

How to keep your Virgin Plus account secure

Use a long, unique password (a password manager helps), turn on any 2FA method Virgin Plus offers, and stay alert to phishing. See Virgin Plus's official security documentation ↗. If Virgin Plus adds authenticator-app support, you'll be able to use MS Authenticator App.
