2FA methods 7Pass supports#
7Pass does not list any two-factor authentication methods.
7Pass does not offer an authenticator-app (TOTP) option yet. Authenticator apps are safer than SMS, so it's worth requesting.
How to keep your 7Pass account secure#
Use a long, unique password (a password manager helps), turn on any 2FA method 7Pass offers, and stay alert to phishing. If 7Pass adds authenticator-app support, you'll be able to use Authenticator App - Novaz.
How to recover your 7Pass account#
If you lose access to your authenticator, most 7Pass accounts are recovered with the backup or recovery codes you saved when you turned on 2FA — so store them somewhere safe, separate from your phone. If you didn't save them, use 7Pass's account-recovery or support process to regain access. Saving your recovery codes when you enable 2FA is the single best way to avoid being locked out.
