These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of Authenticator App - Novaz (the “App”) and our website (together, the “Services”), so please read them carefully. Our Privacy Policy also applies to your use of the Services.

By using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Changes may be posted within the App or on this page, so please check back regularly. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

The Services

Authenticator App - Novaz is a two-factor authentication (2FA) app that generates time-based one-time passwords (TOTP) on your device for the accounts you add. Our website provides information about the App and step-by-step guides for enabling 2FA on hundreds of services.

Your responsibilities

  • You may use the Services only if you are 13 years or older and are not barred from doing so under applicable law.
  • Keep your own backups. Your 2FA accounts are stored on your device. You are responsible for keeping the recovery codes or backups that each service provides, so you can regain access if your device is lost, reset, or the App is removed.
  • You are responsible for keeping your device secure and for the accounts you choose to protect with the App.

Guides and data accuracy

Our setup guides are provided for general informational purposes. Third-party services change their menus and security options over time, so the exact steps may differ from what you see. Always follow the official instructions of the service you are securing. Service metadata is credited on our Credits & data sources page.

Purchases and subscriptions

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store. If any paid features or auto-renewing subscriptions are offered, payment is processed by Apple, and any free trials, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are subject to Apple’s terms. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple account’s subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Intellectual property

Novaz and its licensors own the Services, including all associated intellectual property rights. The Services are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for your own personal purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Authenticator App - Novaz is an independent app. Third-party service names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only; their inclusion does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.

Acceptable use

You agree not to — or attempt to — do any of the following:

  • use the Services to access or secure accounts you are not authorized to use;
  • probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any Novaz system, or breach any security or authentication measures;
  • decipher, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any software used to provide the Services, except to the extent permitted by applicable law;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Services, or any user, host, or network;
  • violate any applicable law or regulation, or encourage anyone else to do any of the above.

Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time by uninstalling the App. We may suspend or terminate your access, at our discretion, if you do not comply with these Terms or use the Services in a way that could cause legal liability or disrupt others.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THE GUIDES WILL MATCH EVERY SERVICE’S CURRENT STEPS.

Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NOVAZ WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF ACCESS TO AN ACCOUNT, OR LOSS OF PROFITS OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICES. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITATIONS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Novaz and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them will be governed by the laws applicable to Novaz, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

General

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Novaz regarding the Services. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right.
