2FA methods DraftKings supports#
- SMS text message
DraftKings does not offer an authenticator-app (TOTP) option yet. Authenticator apps are safer than SMS, so it's worth requesting.
How to keep your DraftKings account secure#
Use a long, unique password (a password manager helps), turn on any 2FA method DraftKings offers, and stay alert to phishing. See DraftKings's official security documentation ↗. If DraftKings adds authenticator-app support, you'll be able to use Authenticator App - Novaz.
How to recover your DraftKings account#
If you lose access to your authenticator, most DraftKings accounts are recovered with the backup or recovery codes you saved when you turned on 2FA — so store them somewhere safe, separate from your phone. If you didn't save them, use DraftKings's account-recovery or support process to regain access (see the official DraftKings documentation ↗). Saving your recovery codes when you enable 2FA is the single best way to avoid being locked out.
