How to edit or delete an account
Renaming is harmless. Deleting is not: if you remove an account here while 2FA is still switched on at the service, you'll need its recovery codes to get back in.
Before you delete an account
- Turn 2FA off at the service first, or make sure you have its recovery codes.
- Check you're deleting the right entry if you have several similar names.
- Delete the entry in Authenticator App.
- Confirm you can still sign in to the service.
FAQ
- I deleted an account by mistake — can I undo it?
- Restore from your iCloud backup if it was taken before the deletion. Otherwise sign in with the service's recovery codes and add the account again.
Keep your 2FA codes in one secure place
Authenticator App - Novaz generates your codes offline, backs them up encrypted to your own iCloud, and locks behind Face ID — free and ad-free.
